It's the second week of The Marketer Review
Sunday Carnival. You may notice a dilution in
quantity. I don't want to bring the party down, but
as this is a learning blog, I'd like to pass on my
new found knowledge of what it means to be a
Carnival Master. Today's lesson is about spam.
I've written about comment spam in the past,
now lets talk about Carnival spam.
I know this is mainly a review carnival, but
there's a difference between reviewing a
product/book/blog and peddling your merchandise. A
review doesn't tell me that everything else in the
market sucks (enless it's a comparitive review) and
it doesn't inform me of a conference, without
reviewing last year's conference (or something
along the lines). If a writer tells me their
product is the best, when it's obvious they have no
personal experience, or no complex opinion of the
product- I probably won't post the article.
Sorry guys, it had to be said- please keep it clean
On to the fun stuff!
Bob King presents
Love what you do. Do that. Hire people who love
what they do to make you money. posted at
Graphictruth,
saying, "We have all seen the offenses committed
by people who don't believe they need marketing
expertise; an offense often committed by a person
who would not be fool enough to think that a
receptionist existed just to answer the phones.
Your marketing strategy, techniques and chosen
markets tell people what sort of person you are.
From that first introduction, they will or will
not consider doing business with you. EVER!"

your favorite submission (listed below). The winner
will be announced in next weeks carnival. (yes, the
prize is the additional
link )
That concludes the 2nd Marketer Review Sunday
Carnival. I hope my angry banter didn't spoil it
for you . Don't forget to
submit your article, to appear in next weeks
carnival!
