What can we- internet marketers- learn from
psychology, sociology, physics, military tactics,
sports plays and politics? Mark Joyner believes
that we con learn to control the minds of
others.

I had recently ordered a
tall stack of marketing books from
Better World
Books. Seeing as my stack had a few Mark
Joyner books in it, and I am very curious as
to this man’s success (in a good way!

), I added
Joyner’s Mind
Control Marketing online rerelease, as
well.

John Chow is a very controversial figure in the
blogging-for-money landscape. This is probably the
reason why he makes so much money.
Living proof you don’t need to rank #1 on
Google
John Chow has been
famously penalized by Google and he simply
doesn’t exist, as far as Google is concerned.
But you couldn’t not find him, even if you
tried.

Rich Schefren had only released
The Attention Age Doctrine Volume 2, three
months ago, and already he’s come up with his next
big report: The Maven Matrix
Manifesto.

Rich Schefren has been
keeping busy, and lately he’s also managed to
get into my good graces. I’m starting to think
maybe
The attention Age Doctrine Part 1 was just a
slip up, because when Schefren wants to, he really
gives his readers value.

Armand Morin’s free report, “The Obvious
Truth”, that accompanies his newest release,
Internet
Marketing Explained. Unabashedly simplistic
seems to be the new stellar seller in
information products.
Carrots and Sticks
Lately I’ve covered a
method of sales, that is being pioneered, in our
industry, by
Rich Schefren. Schefren is talking about
creating value for your readers. What Schefren
isn’t talking about quite as clearly, is using this
value only as a teasing method, to get your clients
to buy- carrots.

We’ve all seen “The Apprentice” and the savvy
listeners among us have all learned something about
business, through it (mainly about self discipline
and taking responsibility for ones actions).
Wouldn’t it be great if there was a show like that
for internet entrepreneurs? Well, there is. And
it’s been running for quite a while,
actually.

Heather Vale is one clever affiliate marketer.
Using her own set of skills, she manages to make
the most creative affiliate site, I’ve ever
seen.
We’ve talked about getting your free internet
marketing education from
blogs, from
email
subscriptions, from
video… It’s time to talk audio.
It’s very easy to make a video nowadays, so most
people forget there are other options. Audio
recordings are, surly, not as attractive as video,
but I find that they have a time saving benefit to
the listener. To watch a video you have to stop
what you’re doing and focus on it. An audio
recording can be downloaded to your ipod or mp3
device and you can listen to it on your morning jog
or while you’re driving. Definitely something
worth-while, for an information marketer, to look
at.

(new on the Hotlist) uses audio for her
affiliate site,

"When do you say, "sorry"? Whenever your client
wants you to, that's when!" *
The two approaches to apologizing
In this
entry, I will be exploring two approaches to
apologizing to your customer. These approaches are
based on two very different business models:
- The personal approach. (adopted by online
marketers)
- The professional approach. (adopted by big
corporations)
The personal approach
I will demonstrate
the personal approach, using
an apology
letter from John Reese.

Incredible! Rich Schefren has managed to
repackage an age-old idea and sell it as his own. Now
that’s what I call Marketing!

If you’re into marketing via the
web, you probably, at the least, heard about
Rich Schefren’s latest report,
The Attention
Age Doctrine. Since I’m registered in (too)
many marketing newsletters, I’ve heard about
this little earth-shattering bulletin, at least,
once a day for the past week. Never one to
decline a free e-book from an expert, off I went
to print this all-so-talked-about report.
There is a valubale lesson in everything
The
Attention Age Doctrine has absolutely no
implementable advice in tow. However, just because
there are no “tips & tricks” that doesn’t mean,
you can’t learn from it. On the contrary- It is a
shining example of internet marketing!
