Last week, I talked about Knowlage@Wharton and
what a profound effect it had on my brain. This
reminded me of another wonderful (I mean that
literally) website, that I frequently rest at,
TED.

My first honest to god interview. I'm stoked!
I've been approached by
Mike
Dammann of
Search Feature for
an interview. Search feature is a new site
that deals mainly with SEO and already has
some huge names under its interviewing list
(Matt Cutts and Seth Godin, just to drop-name
a few). So I'm honored to be on the list of
interviewees- Check it out on the
Vanity
Page.

It's the second week of The Marketer Review
Sunday Carnival. You may notice a dilution in
quantity. I don't want to bring the party down, but
as this is a learning blog, I'd like to pass on my
new found knowledge of what it means to be a
Carnival Master. Today's lesson is about spam.
I've written about comment spam in the past,
now lets talk about Carnival spam.

Last Sunday's Winner
I know this is mainly a review carnival, but
there's a difference between reviewing a
product/book/blog and peddling your merchandise. A
review doesn't tell me that everything else in the
market sucks (enless it's a comparitive review) and
it doesn't inform me of a conference, without
reviewing last year's conference (or something
along the lines). If a writer tells me their
product is the best, when it's obvious they have no
personal experience, or no complex opinion of the
product- I probably won't post the article.
Sorry guys, it had to be said- please keep it clean
On to the fun stuff!

What can we- internet marketers- learn from
psychology, sociology, physics, military tactics,
sports plays and politics? Mark Joyner believes
that we con learn to control the minds of
others.

I had recently ordered a
tall stack of marketing books from
Better World
Books. Seeing as my stack had a few Mark
Joyner books in it, and I am very curious as
to this man’s success (in a good way!

), I added
Joyner’s Mind
Control Marketing online rerelease, as
well.
